Nabi AVCI, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, who has attended a series of events in İstanbul, has paid a visit to Prof. Dr. Bahri ŞAHİN, who was appointed as the Rector of Yıldız Technical University with the highest number of votes in the elections by the President of Republic, Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.
AVCI, the Minister, has congratulated Rector ŞAHİN on his new assignment. Besides, AVCI, the Minister, has been briefed by Prof. Dr. Ayşe Melek ÖZYETGİN, the Director of Abdul Hamid II Application and Research Centre, on the work she has been supervising at the center and the Minister has expressed his intentions support the centre's work as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Bahri ŞAHİN, has presented a gift manufactured by Yıldız Tile Imperial Factory to AVCI, the Minister, in honour of his visit.
