Under a cooperation protocol signed between the Ministry of National Education, Yıldız Technical University, and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, the İSOV Dinçkök Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School has transitioned to a comprehensive educational model that combines industrial and academic expertise. YTÜ’s experience at the Maçka Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School served as a model for the İSOV Dinçkök Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

With the new regulation published in the Official Gazette and now in effect, public sector employees can now have their children—who attend preschool, compulsory education, daycare centers, and children’s clubs—transported via staff shuttle services. The regulation, implemented as part of the “Year of the Family,” is seen as a significant convenience for working parents.

BasınCup 2026, organized under the sponsorship of Yıldız Technical University, will kick off today with two matches.

The soccer tournament, to be held at Yıldız Technical University’s Davutpaşa Campus, will run for nine weeks. Twenty-one teams formed by media organizations will compete for the championship in four groups. A draw was held with the participation of Yıldız Technical University Rector Eyüp Debik and representatives from the participating organizations. Speaking after the draw, Debik wished all teams success and noted that the event strengthens communication and solidarity among media professionals.

Cosmos T1, a domestically developed artificial intelligence model with 9 billion parameters created by a team at Yıldız Technical University, has been launched. The model, which achieved a 77.41% success rate in the challenging GSM8K Turkish test, drew attention by outperforming Meta’s Llama-3.1-70B and Google’s Gemma-2-9B systems.
