Strategic Goal: Become a World Class University

The occurrence of the recent developments in a clearly short time and the significant  enhancement in overall quality at Yildiz Technical University causes Prof. Dr. İsmail Yüksek, the Rector, to widely appear in local media lately and he stated his candidacy for the next period on “Universite Medya” show at Show Tv channel.

 

Previous week, during his talk commenting about these spesific developments at university on TRT Okul Günlük Rehber tv show, Prof. Dr. İsmail Yüksek talked over University – Industry Collaboration, Yildiz Technical Uni. Technopark, which is the fastest developing technopark of Turkey, being a leader in SEM and international education, having the state of art hardware capcity laboratories, significant increase in academical publishment, building bicycle paths in Davutpaşa campus, which is a first in Turkey, having hobby and fruit gardens, free sandwich service for breakfast to students, the activities of student associations at university and the history and restoration work taking place around the university.

In the next programme of Gunluk Rehber tv show, the project “Alive Library” which has been created with motto “Not talk about, Talk with one of them” is referred. This project belongs to Yildiz Social Liability Student Association and at the show, project coordinator Gözde Ece Demiroğlu informed about the project and student association.

Back to his talk on show tv channel, the rector of Yildiz Technical Univerty, Prof. Dr. İsmail Yüksek not only talked over develeopments at the university but also he stated about the future goals. Yüksek stated his vision as “Creating a world-class university from Yildiz Technical Univertsity which is already one of the leading universities in Turkey ”. During his talk answering the questions from social media, activities of YTU Aviation Student Asscociation is mentioned, as well.
