The Yıldız Explorers Program, which aims to help Yıldız Technical University students bring their ideas to life and turn their innovative projects into startups, has begun accepting applications for its third cycle. Open to university students, project teams, and YTÜ student clubs, the program contributes to the development of startups by providing investment opportunities, technical training, equipment, travel support, and access to international office facilities.

Yıldız Technical University (YTÜ) has launched the new term of the Yıldız Explorers Program, which helps students bring their innovative projects to life and advance on their entrepreneurial journeys.

Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as project teams and student clubs within the university, and teams aiming to turn innovative business ideas into companies, are eligible to apply for the program’s third term.

Teams whose applications are accepted and that meet the participation requirements for the relevant support packages will be able to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the program to refine their ideas, develop their projects, and bring their ventures to life.

At least one YTÜ student is required for the application

Teams applying to “Yıldız Explorers,” which is open to all universities, must include at least one YTÜ student. If the team includes only one YTÜ student, that student must serve as the team leader. Teams without a YTÜ student are not eligible for the program.

Separate eligibility requirements and evaluation processes apply to each support package included in the program. Teams that meet the necessary requirements may benefit from more than one support package.

The application period for the third round of the Yıldız Explorers Program will close on October 22, 2026.

Investment support of up to 1,350,000 TL

The Yıldız Explorers Program offers various forms of support to help entrepreneurial teams with their project and product development processes. Support provided under the program includes assistance with machinery, equipment, and materials; technical training and workshops; airfare and lodging support for project participation; and access to free office space in London, Amsterdam, and Dubai. The Star Explorers Program offers various forms of support to help entrepreneurial teams with their project and product development processes. Following the support provided under the program, participants also have the chance to win investment support of up to 1,350,000 TL through the StarBİGG program.
