Zero Waste Panel

Under the patronage of Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, Honorary President of the Zero Waste Foundation, and coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, the Zero Waste Project has become one of our country’s most significant environmental initiatives aimed at protecting our environment, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and promoting a culture of sustainable living.

Launched in 2017 and quickly evolving into a model of awareness both nationally and internationally, the project has created a broad sphere of influence—spanning from public institutions to local governments, universities to the private sector—and is making significant contributions to Turkey’s vision for environmental transformation.

In this context, as part of the June 1–7, 2026 Istanbul Zero Waste Week events, the “Zero Waste Point” panel will be held on Wednesday, June 3, in collaboration with Yıldız Technical University and the Zero Waste Foundation.

The program will address topics such as sustainable cities, the circular economy, zero-waste practices, resource efficiency, and environmental transformation, with the participation of representatives from the public sector, local governments, universities, industry, and leading experts in the field.

We look forward to welcoming you to this meaningful event, which will highlight our shared responsibility toward the future.
