The 2568 TÜBİTAK–Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Bilateral Cooperation Program is now open for applications.
Under this call, research projects to be jointly conducted by researchers from Turkey and China will be supported, and the call is open to projects in the thematic areas of Energy and Advanced Materials.
The research topics to be supported are listed below.
Energy
• Energy Storage and Battery Technologies
• Solar Energy
Advanced Materials
• Advanced Functional Surfaces and Coatings
• Innovative Ceramic Composite Materials
• Innovative Polymeric Composites
Applications must be prepared in collaboration with the project partner in China and submitted separately to the relevant funding agencies in both countries (TÜBİTAK and CAS). Unilateral applications will not be accepted.
• Project Type: Research Project (under the TÜBİTAK 1071 Program)
• Project Duration: Up to 36 months (3 years)
• Upper Budget Limit for the Turkish Side: 3,750,000 TL (excluding general expenses and PTİ)
• TÜBİTAK Online Application Deadline: August 14, 2026
• E-Signature Completion Deadline: August 21, 2026
