Applications for the third cycle of the Yıldız Explorers Program—designed to support Yıldız Technical University students in developing their innovative ideas and turning them into startups—are now open. Under this program, which is open to university students, project teams, and YTÜ student clubs, entrepreneurs are offered investment, technical training, equipment, and travel support, as well as access to international office facilities.
The Yıldız Explorers Program, which supports the development of innovative ideas and their integration into the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Yıldız Technical University, has begun accepting applications for its third cycle.
In addition to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, university project teams, and YTÜ student clubs, teams with an innovative startup idea looking to incorporate their business may also apply to the program.
Under the program, teams that meet the specific eligibility criteria for the support packages will be able to benefit from various forms of support as they develop their ideas and transform their projects into startups.
At least one YTÜ student must be part of the team
Teams applying to “Yıldız Explorers,” which is open to all universities, must include at least one YTÜ student. If the team includes only one YTÜ student, that student must serve as the team leader. Teams without a YTÜ student are not eligible for the program.
Separate eligibility requirements and evaluation processes apply to each support package included in the program. Teams that meet the necessary requirements can benefit from more than one support package.
The application period for the third round of the Yıldız Explorers Program will close on October 22, 2026.
Investment support of up to 1,350,000 TL
The Yıldız Explorers Program offers various forms of support to help entrepreneurial teams with their project and product development processes. Support provided under the program includes support for machinery, equipment, and materials; technical training and workshops; airfare and lodging support for project participation; and the opportunity to use free office space in London, Amsterdam, and Dubai. The Star Explorers Program offers various forms of support to help entrepreneurial teams with their project and product development processes. Following the support provided under the program, participants also have the chance to win investment support of up to 1,350,000 TL through the StarBİGG program.
