TÜBİTAK koordinasyonunda her sene kutup alanında Türk bilim insanları tarafından yürütülen bilimsel proje ve çalışmaların, bilimsel seferlerin sonuçlarının değerlendirildiği ve gelişmelerin ele alındığı "Ulusal Kutup Bilimleri Sempozyumu" ve kutup bilimleri çalışmalarının eğitim ve farkındalık boyutuyla gençlerle buluşturulduğu “Kutup Şenliği” bu sene Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleştiriliyor.
4-5 Aralık 2023 tarihlerinde Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Davutpaşa Kampüsü’nde düzenlenecek 7. Ulusal Kutup Bilimleri Sempozyumu ve 3. Kutup Şenliği'nde; kutuplarda araştırmalar yapmış bilim insanları tarafından popüler bilim seminerleri, kutuplarda çekilen Türk belgesellerinin gösterimleri, kutuplarda araştırmacıların çektiği çarpıcı doğa fotoğrafları sergisi, birbirinden eğlenceli kutup bilimi atölyeleri, lise öğrencilerinin kutup proje sunumları, üniversitelerin kutup araştırma kulüpleri etkinlikleri ve kutup canlıları maskotları gibi kutuplara doyulacak birbirinden renkli etkinlikler yer alacak.

Under the coordination of TÜBİTAK, the "National Polar Sciences Symposium", where the results of scientific projects and studies, scientific expeditions carried out by Turkish scientists in the polar area are evaluated and developments are discussed, and the "Polar Festival", where polar science studies are brought together with young people with the dimension of education and awareness, will be held at Yıldız Technical University this year.
The 7th National Polar Sciences Symposium and the 3rd Polar Festival, which is planned to be held on 4-5 December 2023 at Yıldız Technical University Davutpaşa Campus, will include popular science seminars by scientists who have conducted research in the poles, screenings of Turkish documentaries filmed in the poles, an exhibition of stunning nature photographs taken by researchers in the poles, fun polar science workshops, polar project presentations by high school students, polar research clubs of universities, and polar creatures mascots.
