Turkey made a significant showing at London Tech Week, one of the world’s largest technology events, this year. YTÜ Yıldız Technopark, participating in the event as the first International Technology Marketing Office (UTPO) in Europe, connected 14 technology startups and partners with the global technology ecosystem.

Bringing together the world’s leading technology leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs for the 13th time, London Tech Week took place at Olympia London from June 8–10, 2026. Supported by the Turkish Ministry of Trade as a prestigious trade fair, the event saw Turkey participate with 7 technology parks, 60 companies, and a 250-person delegation, forming one of the largest national pavilions at the event. In the joint pavilion, which also included Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, a vision for a regional innovation hub was presented.

YTÜ Yıldız Technopark, Turkey’s technology hub, brought 14 strong startups and partners—including Codeimo, Okulyo, Compuvi, Visiomex, ExcuryStudios, Linktera Robotics, Marqby, Vendorside, Ride Nuff, WeAccess,Ai, Agrovech, Delta3, and Odito App, as well as the Lonca Entrepreneurship Center, which supports the entrepreneurial ecosystem, bringing 14 strong startups and partners to the international stage.

During a special session held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, on the Turkish stage, Turkish entrepreneurs such as WeAccess.AI, Linktera Robotics, Okulyo, Codeimo, Agrovech, NUFF, Excury, and Delta3 presented their innovative solutions and global growth strategies to international investors.

As part of the event, a special networking event was held at the new London office, which was registered as Europe’s first UTPO with the approval of the Ministry of Trade. The program further expanded international collaboration networks with the Turkish States Technology Reception hosted by Osman Koray Ertaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to London.

"Transitioning from the startup phase to the scale-up phase is a significant challenge"

On the first day of the event, Ambassador Ertaş visited the YTÜ Yıldız Technopark booth and met with participating companies, assessing Turkey’s momentum in the technology sector and its vision for artificial intelligence. “Our strong participation in London Tech Week is a demonstration of Turkey’s determination to catch up with the AI revolution and become a key player in this field,” said Ertaş, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships for entrepreneurs aiming to enter global markets.

Referring to the challenging competitive conditions in the tech world, Ertaş stated, “Transitioning from the startup phase to the scale-up phase is a significant challenge. However, with the right partnerships and strategies, this process can be successfully managed.”

“We are opening a new door to Europe’s technology hub”

Speaking to government representatives, investors, and technology leaders at a special event held at the London office, YTÜ Yıldız Technopark General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Garip shared the institution’s long-term goals for international markets.

Summarizing the strategic location of the new center with the words, “Following our Dubai office—Turkey’s first International Technology Marketing Office—we are bringing this vision to Europe’s technology hub through our London office,” Garip referenced the ecosystem’s deep-rooted academic heritage.

Highlighting the critical role of this new structure in technology exports, General Manager Garip stated, “We are opening a new door that will contribute to transforming Turkish technology startups into global success stories. Drawing strength from Yıldız Technical University’s 115-year legacy, we will continue to connect our companies with the world.”

London Tech Week 2026, which brought together the global innovation ecosystem in the UK’s capital, concluded its main exhibition program on June 10 following intensive B2B meetings, technology presentations, and the establishment of new international investment networks.
