The 8th International Symposium on the Environment and Morals (ISEM 2026), to be held under the theme “Environment and Morality in the Era of AI,” will take place on October 22–23, 2026, hosted by the International Balkan University.
Held every two years, the ISEM symposium aims to bring together researchers, academics, and experts working in the fields of the environment, ethics, technology, artificial intelligence, and sustainability on an interdisciplinary platform. The symposium will specifically address environmental issues, ethical approaches, policy development processes, and social impacts in the age of artificial intelligence.
Abstract Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026
Selected papers presented at the symposium will be invited for consideration in the following indexed journals:
• Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics (SCIE, SSCI, AHCI – Q1)
• Environmental Research and Technology (Scopus, TR Index)
• Heritage and Sustainable Development (Scopus, DOAJ, ROAD)
